Please meet the Dynamic Duo of TWECS at the warehouse. Rodgerito and Roberto. TWECS owes the success of our projects to them for their constant 20 years of unwavering dedication to ensure that the people we care for will receive the best pair of eyeglasses. As a working mother with very active teenagers, they have allowed Derrick and I to raise Evan and Emma and spend as much time with them because they are running the warehouse for TWECS every week. From sweeping the floors, making coffee, buying snacks and being the first at the warehouse to greet our volunteers, they do so much and then some. I cannot express the gratitude I have for having them as friends and Directors of TWECS. Over the years on projects I can count on them to run the dispensary, work their tails off all day and then do the daily stats and still have energy to make me smile with their jokes. I will miss them very much as they are not able to join TWECS on this project but they will be there in spirit, and I know I will think of them with every pair of eyeglasses we give away and with every hug, tear and smile. I promise we will run the project as you two have taught me .... do your best, never sacrifice quality of care and and always always give with a big smile and an open heart. Thank you both for your endless hours at the warehouse just to make this and ALL the projects happen for those who can only dream of the gift of vision. I will miss you! a lot ! Love you both.
